Solid Green Student Club President
During my Sophomore year, I was elected President of Clemson's Largest Sustainability Organization. As President, I have been able to plan a large variety of events. From trash pick-ups, to guest speakers, I was able to create a different experience for club members every semester.

As president, my largest accomplishment was co-writing a petition to get Clemson's administration to re-commit to their carbon neutrality goal of 2030. We were able to get 10,000 signatures in around one week. Additionally, I planned a Climate Rally on campus and was able to generate a lot of public interest and was featured in a segment on the local news.

I hope my time as Solid Green President has an impact beyond my graduation from Clemson University. I am confident I have made a lasting impact on the student body, as well as the entities that are in charge of sustainability at Clemson. The leadership skills I have developed through my time as president will serve me well in the future as I hope to one day be a project manager at an engineering firm. My ability to coordinate with other leaders in the club will hopefully aid me in being able to coordinate with other engineers on projects.

Biosystems Engineering Student Club
Since Freshman year, I have been a participating member of Clemson's Biosystems Engineering Club. As a club, we were able to do many service projects, all environmentally focused. Additionally, we were able to team up with Solid Green Club and other environmental student organizations to help in Football Gameday Recycling and Solid Green Day.

The service projects I was able to participate in through Biosystems Engineering Club have benefitted Clemson, as well as the surrounding community. The litter pick-ups allowed for the beautification of campus while also showing others how easy it is to give back to the planet. I hope our club's work on campus will continue to set an example to the rest of the student body.

From my experiences as a member of this club, I have learned the importance of teamwork. Our small Biosystems Engineering club was able to accomplish many things through working all together. I will use the lessons of coordination of groups, as well as commitment to a cause after graduation.
